I never really understood how drinking yourself silly is a good way of honoring a saint. I mean, not that I have a problem with drinking? Just that ... I don't know, maybe I'm missing something here.

[Pause.]

Reffy, didn't you mention something about a spa trip a while back? Is the offer still open?

If there are any crew members available, I would like to place a request for a visit to the brig.

I have a few matters of business to discuss with the resident prisoner Ganondorf.

For reasons explained here, I'm retconning a bit of fanon I've been playing for Phoenix. Just replace any previous mentions of Phoenix being royal with the word noble instead. No actual conversations or logs are being discounted. They still happened, just with slightly different content about Phoenix's lineage. Details will remain fuzzy unless it becomes necessary or if a Skyheed or Ruskyn show up on the boat.

Any questions or comments can be left here, in my HMD, or on AIM.

Redd ... just kill him already. Permanently. Or keep him in the brig till we reach this Shore of yours and then I'll do it for you. He's proven himself unwilling to live with the rest of us. You're only putting us in danger every day you let him walk free.

[Xanth has, upon exploring the ship, located the luggage deck. He's now carefully searching through the rummage sale portion of the deck, although he doesn't seem to have much of a direction.

In his hand is a basket with a few different items inside, and on his head is a very green top hat with a shamrock on it. Clearly, he thinks no one is around - otherwise he wouldn't have even picked it up.

Come prove him wrong!]

*There's a slight pause before Toboe speaks up. He's a bit nervous about asking, cause it might be a sensitive subject and he's not sure he wants to talk about his world...but curiosity wins out in the end.*

What were your worlds like?

Does anybody know how to go about getting a new keycard? Mine was... I lost mine, and there are some things in my room that I need, and while some of them are replacable, it would be a lot easier to just be able to get back into my room.

I'm not a religious sort, but glancing at the date on this thing reminded me that Marmas is in a week.

For all you roundears who don't know what I'm talking about, Marmas is the anniversary of the birth of the founder of Haven City, a holy warrior chosen by the Precursors and blessed with special abilities enabling him to save the universe or...something.

Mostly, in my experience, he normally uses these abilities to kill people. His prerogative, of course.

[A moment of quiet while he takes a drag on a cigarette, then exhales slowly.]

In other words, it's Jak's birthday in a week. I suppose celebrating it as such would be a bit outside my character, but it has always been a good excuse for a party. The bars back home gave out free drinks on Marmas--not that such an act would have any meaning here.

Still, I'm fairly certain even Erol celebrates Marmas, and there's no doubt as to his feelings toward the old regime and all its members. So something has to be done, especially considering the likelihood of the Captain or crew assisting in its celebration is infinitesimal.

There are some traditional things that are supposed to be done, banners and the like, but I've never actually seen a genuine Marmas celebration. The majority of Kras City's worship of the man tends to end with his supposed invention of Combat Racing.

[No, the irony isn't lost on him. Erol made Mar, Mar made combat racing, combat racing made Mizo, and Mizo made Razer, who was taken down by Jak, who is Mar. He's put a lot of thought into this, it's so convoluted it's impossible for it to be anything less than absolutely fascinating.]

Now, I don't plan parties. I barely even take part in them, most of the time. The people most capable of arranging such a celebration according to tradition are hardly likely to do so--with no offense meant, Damas, you don't particular seem the partygoing type--and thus I'm at a bit of a loss.

Is there anyone from back home who actually feels they know how to throw a Marmas party?

So on one hand, being here means I'm not getting chased by zombies. Don't have to worry about the outbreak, whatever shady bullshit the military could have tried on us--any of that. I don't even know what kind of life I'd have left to go back to if I went home.

... So why in the hell do I still want to?

Beating a horse that's been dead a while. Yeah, yeah. Still on my mind, though... I don't know.

Whatever, I guess.

What's everybody doing? Bored. Talk to me.

Alright, this is a bit of an odd situation I've found myself in. Not that I'm complaining, mind. It's definitely better than being in two pieces.

Still, I don't suppose the person responsible for this would care to return my weapons? They've been with me for a long long time and I'm terribly fond of them. And putting me back where I was and in my proper size would be really appreciated too. As if I wasn't small enough to begin with.

And on that note...
